Somos

In 2021 Alberto Ferreras created “Somos” (We Are) a video installation commissioned by the Smithsonian Latino Center for their first permanent gallery in the National Museum of American History. 

“Somos” includes 150 portraits of US Latinos #shotoniphone. 

Sleeping Cities

In 2020 Alberto Ferreras created a series of iconic photographs shot on iPhone of New York City during the pandemic. Some of these images were included in the exhibit “Ciudades Durmientes” (Sleeping Cities) of the Museum of Modern Art in Bogotá. 

ANGEL RATS

Since 2019 Alberto Ferreras has been trying to convince New Yorkers that pigeons are beautiful.  He doesn’t refer to them as “flying rats”.

He calls them “angel rats”.
